Tom and Kathy have been working together since 1990 creating artful lamps, boxes, purses and more.  They began in Texas where they discovered the wonderful properties of mesquite wood.  The bark inclusions, natural checks and fissures were a natural for their love of inlay.  They have developed their process of inlaying and carving for their aesthetic purpose and expression.

Tom's background as an art professor and Kathy's as a home economist have meshed to produce artful and useful creations.

What our customers have to say...

"...if you are ever in our area, please let us know.  Everyone who visits our home comments on our beautiful lamp.  While the women enjoy the beauty of the lamp, the men admire the craftsmanship and will examine the lamp from top to bottom!  This has been a wonderful addition to our home.  Thank you for this amazing piece of art that now graces our home!" Julie

"I just wanted to let you know that my lamp arrived in New York today and is absolutely beautiful.  Remarkable, the wood is akin to the veneer on my night stand where I have put it which makes it an incredible match.  I put a chromalux bulb in it which gives off a warm, subdued pinkish cast.  It highlights the picture above it very nicely.  I had a great time at the music festival and hopefully will return next year-if only to go to the Art Fair again!!  Thank you again for the beautiful work."Todd

"We received our beautiful lamp and absolutely love it!  It arrived in perfect condition and looks great on the wall unit above our TV." Carol

"We received the lamps on Friday in perfect condition.  They are absolutely beautiful!  Thank you for all your attention to detail with not only making the lamps, but your correspondence during the process of making them as well as the shipping.  Good luck with your business!"  Steve
